I took the train from capital to my small town. I was in a good mood from the previous great evening, even quite euphoric. And then someone had written on a wall I was passing by: “Stay high.”

Jää kõrgele
Sõitsin Tallinnast rongiga Võru poole. Hinges oli hea eelmisest toredast õhtust, olin üsna eufooriline. Ja siis oli keegi kirjutanud ühele mööda vilksatavale seinale: “Jää kõrgele.”

I saw a beautiful white Mini on a car portal and although I was otherwise of the opinion that I didn't need a personal car, it was so beautiful that the temptation made me consider it. Although the mileage was a bit high and my need for a car was small. A week later I was in capital for a couple of days and was happily driving around in a Bolt Drive rental car… when I saw the question on the back window of two buses in a row: “Wasting half your salary on a car?”
I suddenly remembered the times when it was almost like that (leasing, comprehensive insurance, insurance, fuel, parking fees, car repairs). Along with the knowledge that the universe shows the most joyful path, I let go of the car temptation.

Uus auto
Mulle jäi autoportaalis ette ilus valge Mini ja ehkki olin muidu pigem seda meelt, et ei vaja isiklikku autot, oli see nii ilus, et ahvatlus pani mind seda täitsa kaaluma. Ehkki läbisõit oli pisut suur ja mu autovajadus väike. Nädalake hiljem olin paariks päevaks Tallinnas ja sõitsin rõõmsalt Bolt Drive’i rendiautoga ringi… kui nägin järjest kahe bussi tagaaknal küsimust: “Raiskad pool palgast autole?”
Hoobilt meenusid need ajad, kui peaaegu nii oligi (liising, kasko, kindlustus, kütus, parkimistasud, autoremont). Koos teadmisega, et universum näitab kõige rõõmuküllasemat teed, lasin tasakesi autokiusatusest lahti.
I was clearing out unread emails after Women's Day, and one of them quoted Beth Buccin: “Growing up, my mom had a sign in our house that said, “A woman has to do twice as much as a man to be considered half as good. Fortunately, it isn’t difficult.”

Rahvusvaheline naistepäev
Likvideerisin pärast naistepäeva lugemata e-kirju ning ühes oli tsiteeritud Beth Buccini lauseid: “Üles kasvades oli mu emal majas silt, mis ütles, et naine peab tegema kaks korda nii palju kui mees, et teda peetaks vähemalt poolenisti sama heaks. Õnneks see pole raske.”
Väga tabav. Naised on võimsad, elagu naised - ja võrdsed võimalused!
I was walking my dog in the evening, the snow was starting to melt and the park was covered in snow and mud. Suddenly I saw a melted spot that was exactly the shape of a heart… and about a hundred meters away in the snow there was another heart.

Jalutasin õhtul koera, lumi hakkas sulama ja park oli lume-porisegune. Äkki nägin ühte sulanud kohta, mis oli täpselt südame kujuline… ja sadakond meetrit lume sees teist südant veel.
