ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE

I had just finished my book tour, and I also went on the radio to talk about my new book. I met with my publisher that same day and said that it would have been great to go also on TV, but due to the spring-summer season, several suitable shows had already summer breaks.

Ask and you shall receive - the next day, a former colleague working in TV news wrote to me asking if I would be willing to comment on public transport connections in front of the camera. I happily helped her out, but I later laughed that I need to be more specific when formulating my wishes - I said that I would like to go on TV, and I got it right away, but in reality I would have wanted to talk about my book on TV. :)

Küsi ja Sulle antakse

Mul oli raamatu esitlustuur värskelt selja taga, käisin veel raadios ka esinemas ja uuest raamatust rääkimas. Kohtusin samal päeval oma kirjastajaga ja nentisin, et tore oleks olnud telesse ka minna, aga kevadsuvise aja tõttu tõmbasid mitmed sobivad saated juba otsi kokku.

Küsi ja Sulle antakse - järgmisel päeval kirjutas mulle juhuslikult teleuudistes töötav ekskolleeg, kas oleksin nõus kaamera ees Võru ühistranspordiühendusi kommenteerima. Aitasin ta rõõmuga välja, aga nentisin pärast, et soovide sõnastamisel tuleb ikka täpsem olla - ütlesin, et tahaksin telesse, kohe sain, aga tegelikult oleksin ju tahtnud telesse oma raamatust rääkima. :)

MAGPIE

I had long known that magpies are considered a bringer of good luck in Asia and are associated with beauty, fun, joy, romance and success.

So when I unexpectedly saw a magpie on the top of a large fir tree in my garden on Friday afternoon, I was immediately excited - none of these beautiful birds had ever come to me like that before!

Harakas

Ma teadsin ammu, et harakat peetakse Aasias hea õnne toojaks ja seostatakse ilu, lõbu, rõõmu, romantika ja eduga. 

Nii et kui reede pärastlõunal oma aias suure kuuse otsas ootamatult harakat nägin, olin kohe elevil - niiviisi ise minu juurde polnud ükski neist kaunitest lindudest küll varem tulnud!

ENJOY THE MOMENT

I had in one week three book presentations in three cities. The days in the capital were packed with meetings, so when, while rushing from one place to another, an ice cream ad with the text “Enjoy the moment!” caught my eye, of course it felt like a sign.

So true and the best reminder. Thank you, dear universe!

Naudi hetke

Mul oli raamatuesitluste nädal, esinesin kolmes linnas. Pealinna päevad olid tihedalt kohtumisi täis pikitud, nii et kui ühest kohast teise vuhisedes püüdis mu pilku jäätisereklaam tekstiga “Naudi hetke!”, siis oli see muidugi kümnesse.

Väga õige ja parim meeldetuletus. Aitäh, armas universum!

GOALS

I saw a text on Instagram: “My goal: Making money Doing what I love With people I enjoy Making an impact on the world & Growing as a person.”

Since I had been busy with two projects that spring, I suddenly realized that the one closest to my heart (writing books) met all of the above criteria, while the other one… not.

Eesmärgid

Nägin Instagramis teksti: “Minu eesmärk: saada raha tehes, mida ma armastan, inimestega, kelle seltskonda ma naudin, mõjutades maailma & arenedes inimesena."

Kuna olin tol kevadel olnud hõivatud kahe projektiga, taipasin äkki, et südamelähedasem neist (raamatute kirjutamine) vastas kõikidele mainitud tingimustele, samas kui teine laperdas mitmest nurgast.
