FROG

I started to go to bed, but I went to the bathroom first. I looked and saw that there was a dark pile by the door frame - my dog had been home alone all day, so I assumed it is his. I took a piece of toilet paper to remove it when the pile started moving! I was startled and screamed a little when I realized that I had a frog in the bathroom! After calming down a bit, I pushed him into the champagne cooler and helped him outside. Afterwards, of course, I thought that maybe he was an enchanted prince and I should have kissed him. :)

The next morning, I also looked up the meaning of a frog as a sign on the internet: many cultures revere frogs as symbols of renewal, vitality, and good luck. According to the Chinese, Indigenous North American and Latin American peoples, and Egyptians, seeing a frog can be interpreted as a good omen, signaling prosperity.

Konn

Hakkasin magama minema, läksin enne veel tualetti. Vaatasin, et oi, uksepiida juures on nagu hunnik, kas koeral on päeval üksi olles äpardus juhtunud. Võtsin tüki tualettpaberit, et see ära võtta, kui hunnik hakkas liigutama! Ehmatasin ja kiljusin natuke, kui sain aru, et mul oli vannitoas konn! Veidi rahunenud, lükkasin ta šampanjacoolerisse ja aitasin õue. Pärast muidugi mõtlesin, et ehk oli nõiutud prints ja oleks pidanud suudlema. :)

Järgmisel hommikul uurisin internetist konna tähendust märgina ka: paljud kultuurid austavad konni, kui uuenemise, vitaalsuse, hea õnne ja külluse sümboleid.
