SMILE

I walked past the cute yellow house on my way back from festival and I remembered that there was something in its window years ago that always made me happy - but I couldn't remember what it was. Then I turned my head as I passed by and looked - there was a porcelain dog with a sign hanging on it that said “Smile".

I remembered that it had been there already more than ten years ago, even before I knew my future husband, who happened to be born in the Year of the Dog and is also a big dog lover.

Jalutasin Viljandi folgilt tulles mööda nunnust kollasest majast ja mulle meenus, et selle aknal oli juba aastaid tagasi midagi, mis mulle alati rõõmu tegi - aga mul polnud meeles, mis see oli. Pöörasin siis möödudes pead ja vaatasin - seal oli portselanist koer, kelle küljes rippus sildike tekstiga “Naerata”.

Meenus, et see oli seal juba kümmekond aastat tagasi ka, kui ma veel ei tundnudki oma tulevast abikaasat, kes oli juhtumisi sündinud Koera aastal ja ka muidu suur koerasõber.
