I was walking in a seaside small town at the end of July, a week before Viljandi folk music festival in another small town. I had bought a festival pass and planned to go, but it seems that the universe wanted to make really sure that I would come - on the beach promenade, a sticker suddenly looked at me with the text: “Will you come to Viljandi?”
I went and it was wonderful, the brightest festival in many years.

Jalutasin juuli lõpus Haapsalus, nädalake enne Viljandi folki. Mul oli festivalipass ostetud ja plaan minna, aga tundub, et universum tahtis eriti kindel olla, et tulen - Haapsalu rannapromenaadil vaatas mulle äkki vastu kleeps tekstiga: “Viljandi tuled?”
Läksin ja imetore folk oli, säravaim üle mitme aasta.
